Fincher’s is a locally owned BBQ place with several Middle Georgia locations. They offer a wide variety of food, as long as you like BBQ. Instead of mincing words, let’s get on to the pictures!
Surprisingly, they didn’t have brisket on their menu. One of the challenges Hillarie faced was trying out the brisket each time we visited a BBQ place. Instead, she was forced to settle with a plate of ribs. She enjoyed the sauce, but the ribs themselves were pretty tough. She liked the brunswick stew, but not her favorite. The potato salad she got was great.
Of course, my BBQ challenge was to try the pulled pork from every BBQ place we went. Technically not pulled pork, but chopped pork is pretty damn close. I too enjoyed the BBQ sauce, even though it could have been a tad bit spicier. The pork itself was nice and tender. The beans were ok, and I was with agreement with Hillarie over the brunswick stew.
We decided to skip out on dessert that night, as we weren’t extremely hungry to begin with, and what we ate filled us up. While not our favorite BBQ place on our list, the food was fast and not very expensive. If you’re looking for a quick, cheap meal, head out to one of their locations nearest you. We have it on good authority that the cheeseburgers are excellent, so keep that in mind if you don’t want BBQ.
