Apologies for the late (and truncated) version of Week 15. We will try and get something up sooner this week.
Sushi Thai has been serving Thai, Japanese, and sushi dishes in Warner Robins for several years. Needless to say, this visit was not even close to our first taste of Sushi Thai cuisine. One of my favorites at Sushi Thai is the Crunchy Shrimp Roll. However, on this visit I wanted to try something new.
Normally, we don’t try appetizers here, but felt like splurging some in the name of blog content. We settled on the Sushi Thai Egg Rolls mainly because I thought the spicy sauce would be good. These were good, but not anything that wowed us.
I then decided to try the masaman curry dish for my entrée. This dish consists of beef in red curry masaman sauce with coconut milk, potatoes, white onion, and avocados. It had a good flavor but not quite enough spiciness I would prefer.
Matt orders his chicken pad thai without bean sprouts, and he was pleased with the perfect amount of spiciness and flavor in the dish. The serving size was quite ample and provided for lunch leftovers.
We were torn on whether to try a dessert, particularly the green tea ice cream. But, we both knew we’d be eating at the Cheesecake Factory the next day on a daytrip to Atlanta, so we passed on the sweets.
