Viewer’s Choice

Now that our blog has been around a few weeks and we are seemingly getting some decent local traffic, both of us thought it would be a fun idea to give everyone out there a chance to choose our next eating location. This choice will be our destination on the weekend of March 12th, giving everyone out there a couple weeks to put their input in. Simply leave a comment below of where you want to see us go next. Our list of restaurants can be found here.

A couple of ground rules:

1. The locations that have been highlighted in gray have already been visited. Please do not choose one of them.

2. While we don’t mind what you choose, we would prefer a location close to us, either in Macon or Warner Robins. But do feel free to go out on a limb!

Jonah’s on Johnston is my vote. I would also suggest adding Ann’s Deli in Forsyth. It’s a simple sandwich shop with an ice cream parlor.

My vote is for Taylormade Grill in Macon. I went a few years ago and it would be interesting to know if your experience resembles the one I had. Be forewarned: rather pricey!

If you want ribs, I really like the ones at Pig in a Pit. They were tender, juicy and tasted great even without sauce. I also tried the pulled pork; it was good too, but a little dry. Both were much better than anything I had on the sampler platter at JL’s Open Pit BBQ (JL’s dining area had a very smokey odor from the pit that was a little overbearing and the service that night was poor too).
I would personally like to see a review on the Pryme Steakhouse in Milledgeville. I have been wanting to try it, but have been too lazy to make the trip.

Snellgrove Seafood in Centerville. Good seafood and the steak is great! A hidden treasure.

Dai Ichi…I haven’t been in since they opened back up after the remodel. I am curious to know if it’s as good as it used to be.

Benson’s Steak and Sushi (Houston Lake Rd WR)
Looking forward to reading more of your blog!

I just wanted to suggest taking a drive to Milledgeville to try Kai Thai for awesome fresh Thai at a great price. Here is the facebook page so you can see the location and menu.
